This multi te trust is looking for an experienced senior operational manager to provide interim cover for the post of General Manager for Emergency Surgery and Critical Care.
The key purpose of this position is to support the Senior Divisional Management
Team by managing the delivery of clinical services within the Division and
for implementing and managing systems and processes to ensure that all services
are delivered in accordance with Trust-wide policies. The General Manager
is accountable jointly with the Clinical Director and Head of Nursing for
managing patient flow and all aspects of clinical governance and clinical
service development, including the assessment, planning, implementation
and evaluation of care, infection prevention and control and the monitoring,
review, improvement and provision of evidence and assurance relating to
patient care standards.
The General Manager will carry ultimate responsibility for the development
and delivery of the service strategy, business plan and all key performance
and activity targets including robust financial planning and management.
